You Can’t be inspired by what you Don’t know exists. Share A Story, Inspire a future!
About noun
Inspired by the creativity of elementary school students, the support of innovative educators, and guided by former execs from Time Warner, HBO and BBC Children's, NOUN creates freely accessible learning resources and news that inspires and engages curious minds.
Picture this: students leading interviews with cool companies and experts. Then animated shorts from the interviews are shared online and in newsletters along with kid friendly news, enabling access far and wide.
how noun works
We provide unique learning opportunities and inspiration as we engage the future workforce at a foundational level — in elementary schools!
Our mission is simple... to inspire young learners by connecting students, educators and parents with industry and experts. We specialize in creating educational resources from live online interviews led by elementary students and news stories adapted for a 4th grade reading level from company press releases.
Based on student interests, we schedule and produce live online interviews with guest experts led by students. The interviews are recorded and animated, then shared online, CTV and broadcast tv. The animation serves to preserve the anonymity of the students.
Our programming, co-produced with students, as well as lesson plans and activities, is available free to students, educators, and parents.
